ADRIAN ASENA

Meet Adrian Asena, a 10 years old child living in Kawangware slums together with his family. They are a total of 7 people in their household including their parents. They have been struggling from extreme poverty which has hindered his parents from affording Adrian’s school fees. He last went to school last year but since his school fees accumulated the school administration didn’t allow him to continue learning. His mother is unemployed while his father only works as a temporary security guard.

 Food has been a biggest challenge in this family forcing them sometime to sleep hungry. Their house is too small to accommodate this large family which force some of them to sleep in their neighbors house. Adrian is so talented and this also reflects on his performance at school. He wants to become a lawyer when he grows up so that he can help his family to get out of this monster called poverty. His family is requesting for $ 15 monthly support to help Adrian be in school and eat at school this will enable him be able to pursue with his education.
