About Us

What We Do

We are a support arm of the church, working with communities where there are genuine, identified needs. We receive good will donations from friends, church-members and well-wishers. These donations go into supporting our programs.
We work closely with NSP Aid, based in Norway, and Gunnar Hamnøy. Currently, we receive support from donors to NSP Aid for the following: Food programs for 288 children in the slums of Kibera and Kawangware. Housing and food for children at the Heart to Heart Rescue Center. Home Based Care support for 14 families. Full scholarships for 398 children at various schools in Kibera, Kawangware and other slums in Nairobi. The scholarship also includes 5 children with disabilities. Support for the Kipawa program every Saturday for over 400 children. Support to attend Secondary School for 103 students and support to attend University for 8 students. In addition, support from NSP Aid helps pay salaries for Heart to Heart staff, extra support for needs brought on by COVID-19 and food packages for Christmas.
In the US, we are working with the Hope for Living Organization, through Sister Alison Dumas

We provide both full and partial sponsorships to children, ranging from day care level to college level. A big percentage of these are in primary and secondary level.
We have school feeding programs in multiple schools in Nairobi and peri-urban towns surrounding it. We also deliver food to homes of families that desperately need help.
We have outreach, support and rehabilitation programs for street children. We rescue these children from the street, rehabilitate and provide homes for them.
We have post-test clubs and Comprehensive Home Based Care (HBC) support initiatives for persons infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
We provide small loan facilities to women(mostly single mothers or widowed spouses) engaging in small businesses across Nairobi and it’s environs.
Our volunteers carry out bible study programs, run bible clubs and do bible vocational training for children and youth in Nairobi and its environs.
We have rescue programs for orphans, children who have undergone abuse, underage girls who have been forced into marriages and former commercial sex workers.
